About me

Jane Anderson is an illustrator and fine artist based in the West Midlands.  
Graduating from Coventry Univerity BA Hons in Fine Art.  She has since been
steadily building up her reputation working on large scale painting commissions for clients like Wolverhampton Art Gallery, teaching and showcasing her work at art fairs across the country.

Jane has two very different but equally sucessful strands to her practice - a traditional fine art strand concerned with the human form as hermainstay, to work created digitalitaly utilising a more modern illustration style. Her portraits, both in oil and
pencil reflect an incredible attention to detail, subtlety and lightness of touch.
Jane's didgital drawings are bright, modern andbeautiful designs which are inspired by nature. Her aim to make art accessible for everyone's budget.

She has exhibited nationally since graduating and, notably, was selected by Channel 4 to exhibit in IdeasFactory show at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Jane is a visiting lectuer at Birmingham City University teaching on the Visual Communcation BA & MA courses. She is also a founder member of the Girls Who Draw collective. www.girlswhodraw.blogspot.com
