April 08: Art Map
I've been featured in a Art Map of Birmingham produced by the London company Arts Co. The map production co-incides with two talks on the Art of Idea's taking place in April. Other featured artists include Ayling & Conroy, Simon & Tom Bloor, Pogus Caesar, Mona Casey, Fay Claridge, Juneau Projects, Kate Pemberton, Liz Rowe and David Thomas photographed by Ravi Deepres, Chris Keenan and David Rowan. The maps have been printed as a limited edition.
Mar 08: Crobsy commission article in Birmingham Post
I was photographed by The Birmingham Post a week ago, and the article appeared in this week's Post on Monday & Tuesday. The article has coincided with the launch of Visual with an exhibition at Baskerville House this thursday. Here's a snippet of the article.
The Visual programme has also secured a number of commissions including more recently, a major one completed by Jane Anderson for Crosby Land Lease’s development in the City Centre, which involved a five-day trip to New York. The Birmingham-based artist has produced three large canvas prints that start off with the Bull Ring and St Martin’s Cathedral, then combine the street scenes of Birmingham and the Big Apple, before making way for the final picture of a yellow taxi and the Iron Building in downtown Manhattan.
Jan 08: Visual exhibition at City Inn Westminster
I've been selected to showwork at 'Visual' 12th-24th June at Lauderdale House, London.The exhibition features fine art, photography and contemporary craft by new, emerging and established British artists, all of whom have been carefully selected by arts professionals and business leaders. All the work is for sale and is suitable for both corporate and domestic settings.
Dec 08: Crobsy Comission/New York
I've recently been selected to provide a large signature artwork for the main entrance to i-land, a new Crosby development in the city centre. My proposal was to create a bright and bold panoramic montage that spans from Birmingham scenery to New York City, depicting lifestyle, people, bars, cafes, shops, NYC cabs, and street signs. The proposal also included a brief trip to New York to photograph the Flat-iron building in Manhattan .
Sept 07: Mac Contemporary Craft Fairs in Nov
Once again I'll be doing a couple of dates at the Contemporary Craft Fairs on the 18th and 25th November 10am-6pm at the Mac - Midlands Arts Centre. Just in time to bag some unique Christmas goodies.

June 07: Pride in the House Exhibition in London
I've been selected as one of the four artists to showcase my work at 'Pride in the House' 12th-24th June at Lauderdale House, London.
Now in its sixth year, Pride in the House grew out of the first Mardi Gras Arts Festival celebrating gay and lesbian artistic talent held in this historic gallery, in 2002, and we are delighted that we are able to further its legacy.

May 07: Fourteen Catalogue now available
My new work "Little Barbarians' features in a new artist's catalogue Fourteen.
Named after the 14 emerging and established artists showcasing their artwork, the catalogue was the end product of a Creative Alliance Course - Morning After. Morning After is a course aimed at proffesional artists who wish to market their work to galleries and commercial clients.

April 07: Over 16,000 visitors see the 'Birmingham Open' exhibition at Gas Hall
I was lucky enough to have two works selected for The Birmingham Open Art Show at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery - Gas Hall. This first show open to be held at
the museum, which attracted over 16,000 vistiors. The exhibition which ran from February to the end of April, showcased the incredible wealth and
breadth of artistic talent from across the West Midlands region.
All the art works were selected by an independent panel of judges
comprising Kathleen Soriano, Director - Compton Verney, Terry Grimley, Arts
Editor - Birmingham Post and Max Kandhola, - Photographer.

March 07: 'The Event' - Featured in a Guardian Review
In March I exhibited at Periscope in Chinese Whispersas part of 'The Event'.
